KSrelief distributes aid among 1000 families in Badakhshan

KUNDUZ (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed food assistance among 1,000 needy families in Badakhshan province local officials said Monday (Jan. 5)
According to the information, food items were distributed to poor families and recently returned refugees in the provincial capital, Faizabad, and Kohistan district of Badakhshan. 
The distribution process officially began Jan 5 in the presence of provincial officials during a formal ceremony.
Participants in the opening ceremony included representatives of the King Salman Foundation, the head of Badakhshan’s Department of Refugees and Repatriation, Mawlawi Qiamuddin Hajizada, a representative of the provincial governor’s office, Abdul Karim Yezdani, tribal elders, returned refugees, and internally displaced persons.
Provincial officials expressed their gratitude to the KSrelief for its continued assistance and cooperation.
Under the aid program, each family received flour, cooking oil, rice, beans, and sugar. The financial support was provided by the KSrelief, while technical implementation was carried out by the Tawheed Organization.
The KSrelief has been providing charitable services in the country for several years and, in recent times, has distributed essential supplies to thousands of families, including those who have recently returned from abroad. Ends
