KSrelief distributes aid to 1,000 families in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed food assistance to one thousand deserving families in southern Helmand province Tuesday (March 31).
The aid was distributed through a transparent process to internally displaced persons, returned refugees, orphans, disabled individuals, and low-income families in Lashkargah city and Sangin district.
The distributed items included oil, flour, sugar, beans, and rice, provided with financial support from the King Salman Charity Foundation and technical cooperation from the Tawheed organization.
The distribution ceremony was attended by the Director of Refugee Affairs of Helmand, Mawlawi Haji Mutiullah Haqyar, a representative of the provincial governor’s office, Mawlawi Zakaria Zaki, and representatives of the KSrelief and the Tawheed organization.
Provincial officials expressed appreciation for the assistance and called on the foundation to continue similar support in the future.
The KSrelief launched a large-scale initiative across Afghanistan to provide food aid to needy families. So far, thousands of families in various provinces have received assistance, and the process is ongoing. Ends
