Food aid distributed to 2,000 families in Kabul
KABUL (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed food assistance to 2,000 needy families in Kabul, officials confirmed Saturday (April 11).
The distribution took place on Saturday during a ceremony held in Kabul City based on a prior survey and in the presence of relevant authorities.
Officials from the aid center attended the events alongside Mawlawi Sher Mohammad Fayaz, head of reintegration at the Kabul Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation, and Mawlawi Mohammad Ishaq Rahmani, director of internal displacement affairs.
According to speakers, the assistance was provided through a transparent process to internally displaced persons, returned refugees, orphans, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable families.
The distributed items included oil, flour, sugar, beans, and rice, supplied with financial support from the aid center and technical cooperation from the Tawheed Organization.
Officials added that the aid initiative is part of a broader project launched by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre to support vulnerable families across Afghanistan. The program has already reached thousands of families in multiple provinces and remains ongoing. Ends
