KSRelief starts distribution of assistance among deserving families in Kandahar 
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) started distribution of food packages among thousands of deserving families in Kandahar province on Sunday (April 26).

The KSRelief has launched distribution of food among deserving families in various provinces of Afghanistan over a few months ago. The assistance has been provided to thousands of families in various provinces so far.

The food packages were distributed among 3000 families of displaced people, returned refugees, orphans, disabled people and other poor persons in Kandahar city and Takhta Pul district today. The process would continue for three days.

The food packages worth thousands of Afghanis included ghee, flour, sugar, beans and rice. 

The project has been prepared with the financial assistance of KSRelief and technical cooperation of Tauheed organization.

Director of refugee affairs of Kandahar, Maulvi Wali Jan Badam, head of Kandahar refugees, Mufti Naimatullah Ulfat, representatives of KSRelief and Tauheed organization and local residents attended the ceremony.

Provincial officials of Kandahar lauded the KSRelief for the assistance.

The KSRelief launched several projects in various areas of Afghanistan in the past. Thousands of families utilized the programme.
